Registration for CUBE 2026 closes at 11:59 PM IST on Wednesday 16 September 2026. There is no extension window, and late applications are not reviewed.

Who should apply

CUBE is open to students, software developers, software engineers, AI and GenAI enthusiasts, aspiring AI engineers, full-stack and backend developers, product engineering enthusiasts, AI-agent builders, and developers working in startups or emerging tech.

You do not need a team. Round 2 is entirely individual: one participant, one agent. Pods are formed only for Round 3.

How applications are assessed

Applications are reviewed on evidence of what you have actually built. That means:

  • Your GitHub: commits, not stars
  • Projects you can explain end to end
  • Any production or near-production work, at any scale
  • Clarity about what you want to learn from the programme

Roughly 1,000 registrations are expected, from which around 500 participants are selected to continue into the build rounds.

What happens next

Selected participants are notified ahead of the kickoff on 18 September 2026. The kickoff covers the programme end to end: the five challenge domains, the round structure, and exactly what is expected of you at each stage.

Register before 11:59 PM IST, 16 September 2026.
